OMG!

My duet with Loralee2 from California is DONE and it is GORGEOUS! (If I do say so myself!)

For those just tuning in, LL2 and I decided that since we both sing it would be silly to not collaborate on a project. She picked one of my favorite songs on earth (“For Good” from “Wicked”) and recorded her half in California then sent it to me and I recorded my half here. THEN I sent it back and her son’s dad (Narren) mixed it all together for us.

I was nervous because LL2 does studio work all the time and while I have done group recordings, this was my virgin solo studio experience.

I heard the finished MP3 today and I cried.

You would not believe the work Narren did on it. He absolutely rocks and is so detailed and talented in mixing and adding the coolest instruments onto the track.

We sound so good together. I seriously think this is the beginning of many more lovely collaborations. It’s just too cool to not: “Loralee C. & Loralee C.” Too, too fun.

It will be posting this on Tuesday, February 20th. Sorry it can’t be sooner, but I still have to get the original, make the video and post it.

This has been the coolest, most emotional project and I have loved it thoroughly. I think you will like the end product as well.
