Quantcast

Sweet, with a dash of bitter.

A week ago my little pat of butter took his first steps.

And now?

HE SAID, “MAMA”, PEOPLE!!!!

Again and again and again.

To me.

He said my name.

My heart nearly burst from all the happiness of it.

Butterlump is getting so big.

The day is fast approaching when I will have to throw up the white flag and admit he is no longer a baby.

BUT TODAY IS NOT THAT DAY!

:)

I love him so much.

Yay! That sounds like an important step.

    Get it?

    No?

    That’s okay.

That is sooooooo cool. I just know that makes you want to swell up and bust. Next thing you know he’ll be saying “Keys, Ma. I need the keys.”

My friends and I decided that babyhood should last TWO years instead of one. So by our definition, you’ve got another year before you have to wave the flag!

My ‘baby’ is 15 now. I guess I will have to let him grow up…

He is actually a typical teenager, but with a really good attitude (most the time) and is a ‘young’ 15yo (still loves watching the old cartoons – Flintstones etc.). Also, still loves hugs and a kiss when I drop him off for school, most mornings.
