BUTTERLUMP IS WALKING!
Finally!
In my haste and excitement at seeing my little one walking for the first time, I grabbed the flip my friend Kim gave me (that I was utterly non-familiar with) (and HOW SWEET IS SHE to give me her extra camera because she knew I didn’t have one?) and just pressed record with no real concern over the fact that it was sideways, diagonal and all helter skelter.
I JUST WANTED TO LOOK AT MY BABY WALKING. (So, seriously…I know the video sucks but to me it is the most awesome thing in the world.)
Please squee right along with me because is he not AWESOME?!
I cannot believe my little pat of butter is walking already.
Cannot, cannot, cannot.
It’s gone by so fast. Too fast. I am just bewildered by how quickly this year has gone.
Pretty soon I will have him asking to bum $20 and I’ll be sternly telling him that if he knocks up a girl I will cut his thing off.
Let’s just tackle the toddling stage first, though….
Right?
P.S. I wouldn’t REALLY tell him that I would cut his thing off.
P.P.S. MUCH AS I WOULD WANT TO.
P.P.P.S. Hmmm….I think I’ should save THAT sentiment for anyone who thinks I suck for taking such a poorly shot video of my baby’s first walking, no?
P.P.P.P.S. Heh, heh, heh.
:)

My last ‘Despicable Me’ post is up. “Interview with Julie Andrews and Steve Carell: The hills are alive with the sound of music! (That’s what she said).”

Oh my cuteness!!! Give him a squish from me.
But, but.. you were just pregnant! Like yesterday!
I can’t believe how fast the Internet babies are growing up.
Awwwwwwww…..
Bet you had a little cry too eh? I both love and hate it when they grow thru all the stages. I’d love them to stay babies but then I’m awfully attached to their independence as well.
As a Mom I expect you might understand that.
M
Two things to say:
1. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
2. I’m so sorry…
It’s the happiness/sadness probably everybody feels watching how fast their babies turn from infants into toddlers. A real sense of loss (my daughter’s only 4mo. and I’m already feeling it), but also looking forward to the next thing and the next thing, knowing there’s so much more you’ll be gaining than losing.
It’s just a reminder to cherish every day. And even as I’m trying to push my Anna to grab for toys and lift her head and roll over, I also miss that snuggly helpless little thing who fit in one arm, and kept punching herself in the face trying to get her fist into her mouth…
Yea Butterlump!!!!
I love how super excited you sound. Gorgeous!! Yay for Butterlump!!
YAY!!!! So EXCITING!!!!! And SO CUTE!!!!
Just think, now he can come running *TO YOU* for all those precious hugs and kisses! ^_^
oh he is just more squidgey than a farting hippo plush (loveable, huggable, squeezable). i just want to love on him. ethan’s 4 now and has to be bribed to get any type of lovin’ from him. and i mean good bribery. i miss babies that age. they’re so sweet.
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
YAH AARON!!!! Congrats on your walker, Loralee!!
Better make an extra set of car keys now in preparation
O MY WORD! I cannot believe you posted a sideways video! What kind of a blogger does that? I mean really? One that loves her son more than life itself and cares more about sharing her joy with her friends via the interweb than she does about building her brand?
What a disgrace.
;)
(Congrats on your walker, mama.)
ps. There is a way to flip your video … Do you have Windows Movie Maker? Upload your video into there, go to TOOLS>EFFECTS. Then apply the “Rotate 90 degrees” option.
Or, 270 degrees in your case.
*loud squee!!!*
What? Already?
Day-um.
Too freaking cute! I love the excited audio portion, too!
Enjoy the mobility stage!
that is so cute. first walks are my favorite baby videos.
I’m all happy and sniffly and stuffs. <3
