“But hey…you could write about it on your blog!”
“You know I have a blog?”
blink, blink, blinkity-blink…
“Yeeah…I saw you in the paper awhile back and recognized you and I’ve pretty much read it every day since. I’m a fan!”
“Uhhh….WOW.”
“Are you ok with that?”
“No, no it’s fine. It’s always just a bit humbling and mortifying to meet someone who has possibly read all about my Brazilian wax online, you know?”

And now for Part 2 of my press junket from “Despicable Me”…. (Read Part 1 HERE)
A junket (according to Wikipedia) is “where entertainment journalists are invited to see a movie and interview the stars of the movie before the movie’s release”.
And that is pretty much exactly what I did.
I sat with the vocal talent for “Despicable Me” (Opening July 9th) with 9 other bloggers at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills for approximately 20 minutes and we laughed and talked and questioned and grinned our heads off.
It was grand.
Our first two interviews were with Miranda Cosgrove and Jason Segel.

B) It’s always a bit disconcerting when someone announces they’ve been reading your blog. I had that happen and was like “ohhhhhhhhhh shit!” And then laughed cuz what did I think would happen posting all those personal details of my life on the internet? ;-)
My one of my worst fears is to be recognized by a total stranger from my blog, another is to NEVER be recognized for my blog.
I’m going to cross my fingers this happens to me next time I fill up the gas tank! So awesome!
where did you get that awesome orange blouse? i love it! i think i would look really good in that. please tell us where you got it so i can run out and grab one for myself.
