I love local companies. Especially if they are small businesses that really care about delivering good service and a good product and ESPECIALLY when they state on their “About” page that they dislike the price gouging practices some businesses use when they charge a fortune for shipping.
A few months ago I was contacted by a woman who is a student at Utah State studying Public Relations. She studies with a few professor friends of mine and she contacted me on behalf of her employer, SWEETLY YOU, a local online store that makes all sorts of bath and body products in over 50 yummy scents. She wondered if I would be interested in reviewing some bath and body products for my blog and to sponsor a giveaway of their product to you all.
Being a sucker for yummy bath products I said, yee haw! Bring it!
And bring it they did.
I am reviewing the same product I am giving away to you all:

Cache Valley residents, Kari and Justin Hoops, have put a lot of thought and effort into the quality of both their product and their packaging. I love the labels. They aren’t just a logo, URL and list of ingredients like you find with so many small business bath and body products. Each product actually tells you how and what to use this product for. The packaging is fun. Each order is colorfully packed and includes a bag of Jelly Belly gourmet jelly beans so that your order not only smells yummy but tastes yummy as well.
Notice how many times I have used the word “YUMMY” in this review? It’s deliberate because “YUMMY” is the best word to describe the products I received, people.
Everything I selected to review was in a fruity scent because those are my favorite.
Let’s get the negative out of the way first. I only had one complaint with my experience. I felt that the scent of the Pomegranate Premium Body Lotion was too much and too sweet, but I like the texture and coverage and it is a good moisturizing lotion so I would probably be quite happy with the product if I had selected a different scent.
The single use packet of Dead Sea Bath Salts (NOT in the giveaway package) in Sparkling Mandarin Tangerine was great. My husband is more of a “soak in the tub” person then I am so I let him try this one out. We both agreed that the moisture of his skin after the bath and scent of the salts was dead on. And ANY time I can get my husband to use a skin/spa product and like it you know it’s a thumbs up. (Now if I could just convince him of the importance of exfoliation. Sigh.)
And now on to my favorite things in the box:
The Tropical Mango Shea & Cocoa Butter Cream is LOVELY. It is thick without being heavy and greasy and it blended into my dry heels and hands beautifully and gave my super dry skin some needed relief. It was truly a joy to put on my skin.
And the big winner?
Their Moisturizing Spray Lotion in Juicy Cantaloupe.
People, I LOVE this product. Love, love, LOVE it. It is a light spray containing natural avocado oil, aloe vera and no artificial colors and it feels soooo good when you spray it on. They recommend spraying it on after a work out or when you get out the pool or after being in the sun and I can totally get on board with that.
I love how it feels on my face. It’s like an uber awesome and soft spritzer.
MY favorite way to use it is when I get out of the shower. I towel off and it is the FIRST thing I put on. My skin is so dry that it often starts feeling tight and dry by the time and can get lotion on after I bathe. This way, my skin stays soft and keeps moisture until I can put something heavier on my skin.
AND? I CAN NEVER REACH MY FREAKING BACK TO MOISTURIZE IT.
With this spray, my back gets some love as do other hard-to-reach places.

I think cotton blossom sounds nice. I’m normally big into fruity and sweet smells (chocolate mint – yummy!) but right now my nose is in overdrive so I think the lighter the scent, the better.
And good luck getting Jon to exfoliate. I’m still trying to convince Craig that there are better options for facial cleaning that a bar of zest! Makes me skin hurt just thinking about it.
i normally dont like food or candy smelling bath products, but some of these sound SO GOOD! creme brulee? yummy! pink and hawaiian breeze sound fantastic. i soooooo hope you pick me! i am a single girl trying to nab a man, i need to smell good! :)
I’m not a huge lover of strong and/or fruity scents, as they tend to make my asthma act up, but I think I’d love the cotton blossom or warm amber embrace ones.
Ok, so pomegranate was the one you *didn’t* like, but I like pomegranates enough to give that scent a chance.
They all look good, but the Raspberry Chocolate Drizzle sounds really really good.

Wow, so much stuff!! I am always a fan of coconut lime verbena, but I was intriuged by the spiced apple scent. And I totally hear you about after a shower. I would love that spray lotion.

The brown sugar, the spiced apple, and the rice flower & shea all sound really good!

I would have to get the purse size in green apple…nothing perks me up like green apple. As for the other three, I would have to have at least one honeysuckle; narrowing down to two more would be tres difficult: marshmallow, mandarin tangerine, tropical nectar, strawberries and champagne, watermelon, spiced apple, black raspberry vanilla…too many choices!!!!

I so would LOVE to try that lotion spray! My skin gets the same way, and I hate the thick lotions that don’t absorb into your skin, ya know what I mean? That’s all I have right now lol.

these products look amazing!even though i can reach every bit of my back (thanks to a severe sunburn a few years ago), i would love to not have to contort to cover it with moisturizer.
I like both fruity and sweet! I like to smell like candy too! They all sound so good. Canteloupe had won me over but I am a sucker for anything honeysuckle or mint chocolate. I love to try new products and am a bath freak. Thanx for turning me on to this company.
Lots of the scents sound wonderful but I think my top 3 are green apple, chocolate mint, and cucumber and melon.
I love the idea that something so wonderful can be sprayed on. The creamy vanilla or dreamsickle sound yummy. Shea butter and my body get along so well. All the products look awesome.
Cotton Blossom–or maybe Creamy Vanilla. They all sound wonderful!

I’d have a hard time deciding between sugar cookie or butter cream! Both sound yummy!
I love all my scents to match so with that in mind I think that Tropical Nectar sounds wonderful-but I am truly amazed by all the scents that they have on their page-it was amazing. Some that sounds wonderful and others…well, not everything is for everyone! Even if I don’t win I can see myself going there to shop for stuff as the prices seems pretty decent.
I’d like to enter! For the scents I think I’d choose the following.

The buttercreme sounds heavenly! With all the choices, it was very hard to choose just one!
I love the travel perfumes and I like the scents…very sexy and Sweet Jasmine Vine.
I also love the Bath salts in the 1lb. option. The more, the better but in the Sweet Jasmine Vine
Wow! These look like great Christmas gifts! For me personally I think I would like the White ginger and amber sent (although it’s hard to say without smelling them in person).
Buttercream, with Vanilla Macadamia Nut Coffee as my second choice. I have a hard time finding either of these scents in lotions, etc. so this is great. Even if I don’t win I think I’ll be ordering a little something for myself.
I would love to try citrus seduction. Sounds so yummy!!! The lotion spray? Sounds like a winner to me!!
