Dear readers,
What do you think of the new digs?
I think it’s amazing and gorgeous and that would be because I have a team of the best designers around!
I’d like to thank Adam and Marshall and their team at ADVENT CREATIVE for the beautiful design for Loralee’s Looney Tunes, Preston and his team at MULTIMEDIAWISE , who took Advent’s theme and headed up a complemetary design for my product review blog and SETH JENKS for his revamp of my Twitter page and avatar.
I’d appreciate you giving them your feedback and applause because I could never, ever have afforded to do something this cool on my own.
SO, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT AND LET THESE HARD WORKING GUYS FEEL AS MUCH SUPER DOOPER TROOPER LORALEE’S LOONEY TUNES READER LOVE AS YOU CAN!!!!!!!!
(And yes, I am totally aware that I phrased this request like a combination of a re-run of The Mickey Mouse Club and a Mid-Level Marketing meeting all at the same time.)
Kisses n’ stuff,
Loralee

Positively gorgeous!! Love it. They did an amazing job
Love the new look. REALLY love it. Jealous enough to inquire about
perhaps what it would take if I wanted my blog made all spankin’ cool, too.
It looks gorgeous! I think my favorite part is the diet coke can at the bottom w/the flowers coming out. Hehe. And I’m glad your eyes are still up there, cause they are gorgeous!
Love, love, LOVE the new design!
Bea-yoo-tiful! I love how the flowers match your purdy eyes. :-)
Is it me or is this site absolutely GORGEOUS?
Beautiful site for a beautiful woman… it makes sense!
It looked wonky until I held shift/refresh. Now the only thing that might be wonky is the ads
that intrude on the site-wide comment input box. It looks great. Great graphics work, but the CSS
may need a wee tweak. Just me?
Absolutely beautiful. Looks like you whipped those boys into shape so they did your site correctly. Ditto what witchypoo said. The 160x ad is covering up the right side of this comment box so I actually have no clue what I am writing…oh, there are the words.
But really, a beautiful site. It was certainly worth all the sex you traded to get it.
Your eyes stayed the same. Eyes never lie! 2 thumbs up. steve
Love the new layout! It’s beautiful.
It’s lovely… really, simply fabulous. So many nice little details (especially elements in the footer) and you’ve retained the “brand” of your eyes nicely. I love the PS stuff on your Twitter bkg.
Sterkworks mentioned it, but I’ll reiterate it… the ad on the sidebar is covering up part of the comment box. (I’m using Firefox on a Mac.)
Nice work team!
Ooh! So pretty!
It looks great! So pretty!
Very nice!
looks gorgeous!!
ooo! i just noticed the pretty wood floors!
Beautiful! Just like you, sweetcheeks. xoxo
Excellent. Your team did a great job.
love it from top to bottom! they did a fab job :)
I really love it! I am glad you kept the “eyes” at the top. It is so you. I think this new look is so professional and very chic. It was totally time for a change, and I think this will help you feel better about what you are going through. Little things help. Looks great!!!
I love it! Nice job guys!
Great job on the redesign!
oooo aaahhhh oooo ahhhhh
Love it! :)
Simply beautiful. I’m a little envious ;o)
Very handsome! I like the flowers and the soft colored background. And of course, those signature eyes!
LOVE IT!!!!!
Gorgeous!
HA! And I just noticed the diet Coke at the bottom. Genius.
Am I the only one that it’s not working for?? Maybe it’s my browser …
That’s better. Works now. OH MY WORD IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!! LOVE IT!! And I’m so glad you kept your eyes in it!!
So purdy!
Just gorgeous! I’m very envious.
looks great!
Beautifiul! Gorgeous! I especially love the wooden “deck” above the footer. :-) The twitter page is great too!
Ooooo it’s sooo shiiinnny.
oooh snazzy! I like that they kept the eyes element but jazzed up everything else. Even some fancy decor down in comment land.
For some reason the masthead photo and the blue flower are in the middle of the page so I am unable to read clearly what you have written (it continues to stay in the middle when I scroll up and down.) Is this just me?
Otherwise it looks great!
Stacy
Love it!
love that all of the tabs, subscriptions, etc are all along the top, and the flowers from the diet coke can. Perfection!
Fantabulous!
I love it!
Oh. Em. Gee. Freakin’ Gorgeous! It’s you, and new, and I love it!
This site is wonky in – Firefox on Linux and IE6 sp2 on XP. It works wonderfully, however, in Firefox (latest) on XP and Seamonkey on Linux. FYI.
@Stacy, that’s how it is for me – I’m using Google Chrome and the first 4-5 paragraphs of each post are almost impossible to read. But I think it’s purdy!
it’s so pretty. i love the black and the new scripts. very professional looking.
mighty pretty- love how you kept the Diet Coke cans!
Ha! Glad I scrolled down and saw the bottom – uber-cool, Loralee! Beauteous work, tech designing people. :)
I LOVE IT! It looks fabulous! They did a great job! Love the Twitter page too!
Woo hoo!
It’s just fabulous, just as you are.
(the diet coke can here at the bottom is awesome…)
Very, very pretty. Love the blue flowers and all the little details.
I love this payout! I love the diet coke can at the bottom, and the “kick asterisk” mention at the bottom! Your eye at the top is lovely, and when I am looking at my toolbar where your site name is, there is a diet coke can next to it too! :) The effect of the site is very relaxed and refined at the same time!
I like! It’s very perrfessional and stuff. And I want to put a bottle of Newcastle at the bottom of my blog now.
You so pretty! Love it!
LOVE the new look!
Yaye for re-decorating!
It looks quite lovely. I really like the floorboards on the bottom. Cool touch.
Love the new diggs. TOTALLY thought I had went to the wrong site for a bit though!
Great job guys! You did a fantastic job!
Hey, y’all…
If you are having a hard time, can you try holding down CTR (or your apple button) and refreshing the page?
It usually works from that point on when you do it.
THANK YOU FOR THE COMMENT LOVE. These guys worked their rears off and I am soooooooo happy wih the results!
Love it! Gorgeous, darling!
The control + refresh fixed all my problems! Looks fabooooo!
Your designers kick ass.
I think that, as is your new Twitter page, is FYNE.
PRETTY!! It makes me want to change my design too!
OOOOOHHHHH! I likey!
So, so pretty!
LOVE IT. Absolutely beautiful (Just like you).
Nice!!
I love the site redesign. I think my favorite is the powered by diet coke.
NICE!!!!
Ohhhh I love it. The bottom is just as cool as the top.
Hi,
I’m so sorry to give negative feedback, but viewing your site in IE and FF show a truncated left column.
The graphic design of the site is pretty.
I love the new look! They did an awesome job :)
Very classy! I really like the bottom of the page – both the floor boards as well as the flowers coming out of the Diet Coke can. That’s so freaking cute!
Good stuff, Loralee.
Yes, pretty
Don’t mind the not stop traffic from Texas.. it’s just me coming here.. over and over and over again to revel in the beauty.
LL ~ it fits you perfectly. Flowing, beautiful, elegant and eye catching with just enough sass and spark to keep things interesting.
looks great!
Aha, the CTR refresh thing worked. Beautiful, I love the new look!
I see the comment entry form issue is resolved. And now we have perfection. Kudos!
Well, as much as I appreciate the graphic work in this design, I have to admit, that I somehow prefered the old design as a whole. Maybe it’s just me and my weird taste, but it’s too white in here now. And to see all the design I had to make my FF window ridiculously wide. I’m sorry, I just don’t like it now ;( (don’t worry though – I really DO have very strange taste, everyone tell me that).
But I guess the most important thing is that you love it – after all it’s your blog :)
regards,
Amy.
@Amelia,
No worries. I absolutely respect that this design isn’t for everyone. Few things are, right? :) I felt a lot like you but after 3 years of so much orange I was really ready for a lighter fresher feel.
I was the one who picked the white. I was very anti-white blog space when I started out but I noticed that I was drawn more and more to them over the years.
Besides, my writing is so chaotic and full of caps, italics and exclamation points that I wanted a much less cluttered feel.
I requested as wide a content space as possible because I am very wordy and long winded.
So, all of it is on me. They did what I asked and did it beautifully.
It’s gorgeous! Much like yourself ;)
It’s fabulous, Loralee. Beautiful, clean design, feels “all of a piece” — with your eyes still the focus and anchor at the top. I really, really like it. The Twitter page is gorgeous too. Two thumbs way, way UP!
Looks good.
when I first opened it up I actually said, “ohhhh pretty!” before I even read anything about the new design. I really really really like it.
Awesomely gorgeous and beautiful blog, like the artist herself.
X
Supa
I think it looks great.
Don’t know what my favourite part is though, I love your eyes (always have), O love the flowers and I love the decking.
The neighbourhood looks really good now!
@Loralee, I see your point, of course. They did exactly what you wished, so I guess they deserve really great applause :) Anyway, as I said – the graphic is lovely. Header and footer are gorgeous.
Though the wide content space has its practical side – for example on my mom’s laptop which I’m using right now (as my own “computer” stayed at my place) it’s just too wide for the screen :)
regards,
Amy.
@Amelia,
No worries…seriously, I know my choices aren’t for everyone.
I’m not trying to have a back and forth here (REALLY I know what you’re saying) but I don’t want people thinking that my designers wouldn’t tell me about what wide content would do to smaller screens.
They advised me about the smaller screens and that some of the design would be chopped off with the wide content space. I looked at it on my standard size laptop and really, I felt it looked ok. So that bad is on me, too I’m afraid. :)
@Loralee, I see :D (I have to admit, too, my mom’s laptop is not very new, quite the opposite, frankly. Plus, it is very probable that what’s standard in your country, might not be in mine. After all, you’re way ahead of us, when it comes to technology. So I get XD)
ciao,
Amy.
I love it! They did a great job!
It’s beautiful!!! Wonderful job, guys!
