We did a similarly budgeted kitchen remodel when I was pregnant with our first, except he came early, so I spent the first month post-partum running to Home Depot and trying to find someone for cheap to put the roof jack for the ceiling fan in, etc, etc. So I would not be surprised if you slept through BlogHer though I do hope you manage to find the energy to have fun.
