It seems like only yesterday that my littlest little guy was a tiny newborn, and he’s one in a few weeks (I won’t even get into, how quickly the bigger ones have grown!)

I’ve been 50/50 for a while, but a few weeks ago I came to the decision that I’m fine with just 2 kids… until now!! Oh, my heart aches for another baby again. :(
BTW, Bill called me out last night. Apparently, I’ve told him at least 4 times over the last week, “Did you hear that Loralee had her baby? He’s so adorable!” He indulged me the first 3 times, but finally last night he reminded me that I’ve already told him that, and that, yes, he’s knows you had Aaron and the thinks he’s the most adorable thing too.
Thank you for giving me that time with your son. It was very comforting, I miss those days. (28 yrs.ago) It goes by so fast, really, so just sit and look at him.

He’s adorable! I bet he has that great baby smell too. I’ll admit I was sniffing our boys in the NICU today. They smell good even when so tiny and hooked up to all kinds of stuff.
He’s darling. My 4 year old was watching with me – “Is that Kairi, Mom?” (Kairi is my 2 mo. old) “No, Gracie. This little boy’s name is Aaron.”
“Oh. He’s ‘dorable! Hey! His name matches yours! What’s the mommy’s name? ….Oh- ‘Lorylee?’ (haha) Is she far far away? …Oh. Well let’s go to Utah and see them! Um, how do we get to Utah?”

new babies smell the best. plus, all they want in life is to be loved and to know where their next bottle is. they give you all the loving you want, unlike 3 year olds who tease you and say he gave all your luvin’s to papaw.
