I texted my husband saying that I REALLY wanted chocolate. (I ask for things like this all the time to zero avail, so I wasn’t expecting anything.)
GUESS WHO BROUGHT ME A DOVE CHOCOLATE BAR HOME?!
I about passed out with shock and “OMG, YAY!” as the chances of something like this happening are like Rush Limbaugh suddenly announcing his mad desire to make out with Ted Kennedy. (For reals).
This makes me wildly, wildly happy.

Aw!!! My husband was the same way – always making me eat healthy when pregnant – but once in a blue moon he’d come home with a Blizzard from Dairy Queen for me.
Hope you enjoy the chocolate!!!
I am smiling at the thought of you getting so damn excited about a chocolate bar.
You are cute.
I’m guessing he was at a store when he received the text.
Now there’s a man who is doing his job – making Loralee happy. That IS his job, you know? I mean, somebody has to do it – and the rest of us are all so busy we have to leave it in his capable hands. And I’m so glad to see that he’s catching on to some of the finer nuances of his position – as Head Maker of Loralee’s Happiness. Because – if HE doesn’t do it … well, we’ll just have to find another volunteer – and good talent is just so hard to find, these days.
awww, how sweet. i wonder what went through his mind when you turned out to be so happy about the chocolate bar. i hope it was maybe i should do this more often, but it was probably, damn, i wonder if she loves that chocolate bar more than me right now and what would happen if i tried to take it away. then he’d probably have a mental flash of you baring your teeth like a wolf and snarling at him while protectively holding your dove bar.
Good man. He deserves some sort of reward….
;)
Woohoo! But does he realize he brought the standard up just a little?
I know he doesn’t read the blog, but Jonathan? You rock!
