I know I'm too late to be in the post, but I have a question: Are there any friendships that are over in your life that you would re-instate if you could?

I have been reading for some time, but probably not in enough depth to ask this but since you asked:
I lived in Utah for 18 years (from 18-36) married there, had three children. As a non-Mormon in Kaysville (a very Mormon area) I spent a LOT of time with Mormons and was considered many dear, dear and close friends. Yet, I still always got the feeling (not always a feeling, some said it outright) that not being Mormon made me less of a worthy human being. Period.

Now, I know everyone is already asking you why you are not practicing so I just wanted to ask from your side of the fence (or former fence): Did you get the sense that as a Mormon you were superior to all other religions? Or is it just a side result of Mormons sense of contentment and certainty that us non-mormons perceive as intolerance?
