P.P.P.S. Yes, I am still sick. Shocking, I know. I’m not getting better but I’m not getting worse. My fever is staying put but it hasn’t increased and reached 103 so that is a good thing. (Thanks and love for the sweet emails. So many of you magically seem to know my physical state pales compared to the toll these months are taking on my head and morale.)

Thanks for the laugh. You know, right now, I’m alone in the house with my two boys (oh how I wished for a girl too, and I ended up tying my tubes after boy 2) cause hubs is in the military, the house looks like a hurricane hit it and I just can’t get up off this chair. I feel guilty for a shitton of things I shouldn’t feel guilty for and all the while I know I’m not doing bad compared to half the world. For what is worth, I get you and hope we get out of out respective funks cause life is just too short to feel so crappy. Much love.

From what it sounds like, I think both of us are doing what we can the best way we can.
I do not know first hand but just from the experience of loved ones serving and being deployed and watching from the sidelines, the stress of a spouse being in the military is HUGE. Just HUGE. The worry, separation, fall-out is massive. My heart is just aching for you right now. I don’t know you but wish I could give you a big hug.
MUCH love back to you and your family. I’ll keep you and your husband’s safety in my thoughts.

I think a chiffarobe is like an armoire-
Alec Baldwin is one of my guilty pleasures- watching 30 Rock almost makes me forget what an A##hole he is…
Being the small-town Southern girl I am, I had a chiffarobe growing up. For us, it’s an all-in-one piece of bedroom furniture when you’re living in a room with no closets. Mine had a full-length drawer on the bottom, five half-length drawers on the left and a place to hang up clothes (complete with a clothing rod) on the right behind a door. There was also a mirror on the inside of that right-hand door.
And, yes, it did make an excellent place to hide as a young child.
I admit I used to find Alec dreamy when I was young. Did you ever see “The Shadow”? Then I grew up and he started yapping about politics and the crush quickly ended. I don’t find him attractive anymore, but I DO like 30 ROCK! I’ve finally got it DVR’d to record every episode. That clip was TOOOOOOOO funny!
I love 30 Rock.
