There has been lots of Tweeting, posting, emailing and swooning over the 9th annual Boggie awards. For the next week or so, nominations in different categories will be open for the peeps of the internet to chime in and profess their undying love for the blogs and bloggity people that they love.

No, I am not asking (nor want) to be nominated .

(Really. Like really, REALLY. I think that the awards are grand, just WAY too much stress for someone like me, frankly. Competition gives me ulcers. Besides, I write about getting my hoo-hoo waxed online. Hardly award-winning material! Hee.)

I’m posting because there are loads of really outstanding writers and bloggers who deserve the nominations and that should be recognized. I also know there are a lot of people that don’t know that the awards exist or that they have a chance to chime in about who they love to read.

There are TONS of categories for big, small, hidden-gems, best writing, etc.

I went over and nominated and it was fun.

It’s a cool thing to participate in, so go over and show your favorite blogs some love.

It’s good for the community.
