I know that tons of people already know and love Her Bad Mother’s Basement,the safe and secure place to write and hash out your feelings, but I am sure there are some that don’t know about this little gem, so I thought I’d share.
Catherine accepts anonymous (and not) blog posts by email and posts them for you. In my opinion it is a great service for bloggers who NEED TO VENT but for whatever reason do not feel like they can on their own blogs. I love The Basement. (I also love her mainstream blog “Her Bad Mother” but that is sort of a given.)
I’ve checked in periodically since a friend posted a year ago, but today I just got a hankering and I’ve been reading the archives for hours now and man…it’s a powerful place to plow through.
Who knows, maybe one day I’ll vent and write a post or two of mine own there.

It’s hard when you begin a blog, in part, to have a place to vent. Then when you do vent about family issues, the party involved blows up at your husband (who agrees with the sentiments in the blog, but did NOT write them). Thus, my locked LiveJournal that only two people have access to-and neither is my husband.
This sounds like a great alternative!
Ugh – as if I needed another page to become addicted to! It’s totally unfair that the page is so great!
