I had to get a new laptop a couple of months ago because mine died, so I know your pain very well. I especially hated that it took me forever to transfer files to the new one. And that I had to learn how to use Vista. AND that I could not find some of my software so that I had to buy it again. Other than that, the new one is working fine. ack!
