To everyone that has been trying to make comments only to have WordPress EAT THEM, I am sorry. I am not deleting your comment, I have NO idea what is happening. I can find answers nowhere, either. Usually if you try again, it seems to work, but some try 5 times and nothing.
I’m so frustrated.
It started when I wrote my post about Matthew and then when I announced I was pregnant. I lost ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY comments between the two. I thought it was just “Overload” but no…it keeps happening. I lost over thirty today so far only. (I get email notification like a regular comment only all the info is blank. That is how I know how many I’ve lost).
Does anyone have any idea what this is or have you experienced it?

yes, I think the last 3 comments I’ve left for you have disappeared. i was starting to think you were moderating them out because you hated me (JK). how very odd though. i’d send an email to the big wig tech guys at wordpress. do you have a funky spam blocker (other than akismet) installed?

I seriously have heard from so many people I am just so mad because none of this is intentional EVER.
I only moderate to prevent hateful comments coming through but because I moderate people think I am pissed (I know you were kidding but some people were really concerned)
I have sent emails, combed forums and removed moderation and comment luv. I just want to cry.
My husband is taking pity on me and has actually offered to try and see if he can figure it out tonight.
Are the comments in your database but just not showing or are they not getting there at all? Are you hosted or running your own WP server?
They just don’t show up at all. WordPress notifies me of a comment but all the info is blank and it doesn’t show up in my data base.

You should definitely contact them then. It sounds like the comments aren’t getting to the database, aren’t being returned from the database, or the database might be getting corrupted. I can only guess though since I don’t have logs to stare at.
