I love reading lists of links.
Slackermama is exceptionally good at churning out lists of worthwhile reads and I enjoy looking through them every week. I also love the shared items in Google Reader (Which are are the only ones I have left in there).
I have been feeling a little lost without my reader. I have loved it but I find myself stumbling around like a dork. I am still figuring out a new way of going about things and I hate to say it but I’m slow at things like this.
So…Wanna help a girl out? Read anything great this week? Written anything you’re proud of?
I’ll totally read it. Leave me a comment and a link.

I just wrote about our busy week. I am trying to do something new and exciting with the kids every day.
But I think you will be entertained by my post about Brother Horton and what he brought to my house last week.

Sometimes my blog holds comments with links in moderation if it has url links.
I have moved up the number of allowed links but it still seems to be catching a few.
If that happens to you, don’t worry, I’ll check my spam folder often and de-spam them.
A little over a week ago I shared stories about my son’s penis on the internet. Although it probably violates laws in several oppressed countries, I shared anyway. Because I have nothing better to do.

In the interest of semi-self-promotion, I set up a blog for my mom for her art work. I’m going to try and get her to update it again sometime in the next week but there are 10 of her older paintings up so far and she’s recently sold 7 or 8 paintings over the last month.

Well, you know I won’t pass up an opportunity to pimp my blog….If you’re feeling on the melancholy side, I wrote a tribute to one of my best girlfriends who died of cancer here: http://viewfromtheshortbus.blogspot.com/2008/08/losing-laurel.html
or if you’re feeling silly I wrote a letter to an annoying QuikTrip customer here: http://viewfromtheshortbus.blogspot.com/2008/08/quiktrip-is-not-grocery-store.html
Either way, I love reading my Loralee!

Well, my blog misses your fabulous comments, it was just telling me the other day. I’m back to fairly regular posting, getting back into my groove with things, so I too will self promote (I have no shame, you know that) and say that there are a couple of posts that may or may not be worth a look.

You’re stumbling around like a dork… I’ve just spent the last three hours reading assorted articles on Wikipedia. I started off with Bohemia (for whatever reason), which eventually led me into Germany, then Tom Clancy novels, then Siberia, then the coldest locations on earth, then Soviet Russia, then Stalin, then all of Stalin’s wives and children, then rogue waves, then Sable Island, then the movie The Perfect Storm. Seriously, I can waste hours and hours on Wikipedia. I start with something I’m curious about at the moment, then click on something I read in the article, and so on.
You think I got all of this useless information for nothing? A lot of hard work goes into it.

Whee! That was fun. I loved visiting everyone’s links. (Even yours, Craig. Ehem.)
I am entirely too lazy to dig up something on my blog worth reading, but I did want to mention that I found you in the Top Recommendations section of Google Reader. Often I’m all Are you kidding, Google? But this time the Google fairies were spot on.
I did a linky post for our friend Christine on Monday: here.
