Cold sores are developing just in time for BlogHer. Nothing says, “You REALLY want to get to know me” like herpes.
Yay.

abreva baby, it will be gone ASAP, or at least small enough to hind underneath lipstick :) it costs a fortune, but so worth it and lasts forever. trust me, I am the queen on cold sores, it is the fastest way to rid your self of them.

Don’t forget the endless photography that could (will) end up plastered all over everybody’s blogs!

Totally hadn’t thought of that. OMG, YAY!
Maybe you could go out and get a pair of those wax lips to wear.
Just an idea.

Vegemite works well when you feel them coming, put a bit on and the Vegemite kills the herpes. Don’t know if it’s the vitamin B, or the fact that it’s made from the ‘beer slops’ at the brewery (just kidding, I think, it’s yeast extract). Just have to know an Aussie to get it though.
As someone else mentioned Abreva works well, but the thing that is gold and knocks the socks off of cold sores is Denavir (by prescription). Good luck and if you use either of these it will certainly be nearly gone and easy to hide for your trip to BlogHer

It’s true, nothing says love like a vineral disease! Just don’t mess with it and keep the med. on it or it will spread and enlarge and swell.

I cannot stop thinking about that Vegemite recommendation up there. Vegemite. Who knew?
(And now I’m wondering if this advice applies to all manner of herpes and there are thousands of Aussies walking around with Vegemite on their…down unders. Maybe you could use this as an ice breaker at BlogHer?)

“Excuse me? What is that bewitching odor, you ask? Why, it’s Vegimite, of course!”
THis is not the first time I have heard that actually. My brother LOVES Vegimite. He lived n Austrailia for two years and came back with a huge jar of it.
Oops! Thats me, Loralee. I’m at Bridgy’s house playing Rockband and she’s logged in. OOPS!

Poor thing, I bet everyone is going to want to hang out with you now :)
How nice is you doctor/dentist? If you can convince them to prescribe you some Valtrex before it really gets started it’ll be gone before it’s full blown. Their slogan should be Valtrex … it’s not just for you sexy bits.

I know. I can’t seem to catch a break regarding this blogging conference, huh?

Yup, Valtrex is really good. Take two the first dose, then follow the 3x per day thinghy.
Abreva seems to work pretty quick. It’s best to treat these cold sore BEFORE they fully break out… much easier to keep it contained then.
They always seem to come up at just the WRONG time.
You are way super radly funny and enjoyable. Don’t know why I missed this before, but you are on my feedreader now and I will not miss it again!!
