After a gut twisting week, we finally got a call from our rental agent very late this afternoon.
We got the 4 bedroom townhouse that we wanted!
We sign the papers tomorrow and then WE START MOVING IN.
Like, in less than 24-hours.
As there is also a LOT more going on than just moving, I have to say that don’t think I have ever been so busy in my entire freaking life.
Well…maybe except for the quarter in college when I was carrying 18 credits, performing a minor role in an operetta, leads in a musical and an opera, working part time, raising a 2-year-old and getting married the day after final exams.
THAT may have been a little busier.
Maybe.
*As I wrote this and then set publication after midnight (You know, because I posted FOUR freaking times yesterday), I should clarify that I’m moving TODAY. You probably figured that out though, huh?

Well, the good news is that you know that you can do it.
The bad news is that you will have to actually do it.
Hope you have movers, because a self-move is wicked stressful.

I hope that all goes well. I always hope that when I move next that I will get rid of things and organize better, but it seems I am always in a rush. I wish good weather (too hot, too cold, too much rain no good) and lots of Diet Coke your way. I am excited for you as it is the first step to your new home, with more than one bathroom!
I can’t believe you’re still blogging through it all. Of course, I am glad because what would I have to do with myself at the crack of dawn when no one else has updated their blog? :-)

Wow! I bet you will look back on this part of your life next year & think it was a breeze. All you need is diet coke & plenty of boxes. It’s really an adventure…so have a good time.

I can not imagine moving ever again. Doing renos is bad enough; having boxes and disarray everywhere, but moving….good gosh give this woman a case of Diet Coke-STAT!
I am sure the mayhem will be so worth it. To be in a space you like is so much nicer than putting in time. Okay, hedgehogs….done. Now, we have to figure out how to get them to you without them turning into hedgehog goo, or hedgehog poo!

Happy packing and lifting and moving and setting down into very large piles that tomorrow will look like mountains of crap that will cause you to say, “do I really need all this crap?” which will cause you to live out of the four unpacked boxes that you already have gotten your essentials out of for the next 3 months while you bemoan the piles of crap you really don’t need until you finally get the energy to unpack them and then arrange them and then have a garage sale.
