There are a lot of people who don’t view the holiday as anything MORE than a long weekend. We’re thinking of you today…
Camilles last blog post..Let Me Tell You About the Time I Faced Death in a Pristine Bathroom
I was always aware of veterans and of family that had passed but it wasn’t so difficult or personal. Plus, his birthday is coming up, so the day just blows in general.
Thinking of you today….boy oh boy did you boys grow since last years pic…or maybe you shrunk ;)

We totally swung by to say “hey” to Bug when we were there yesterday – just wanted you to know we were thinking of him and you and your family.

Anything I think of to say sounds really stupid. . .
I always thought it was neat when families have a special picture they take the same place every year. But I am so sorry to see this one :-( I can’t believe you can even smile :-(
I never can say something appropriate at times like this, so I’ll leave it at..
Oh, honey…

“Memorial day” is every day when you have lost a child; I know that all too well. But taking a special day, set aside to remember with the whole family is a brilliant way to honour the life of a loved one. And the smiles on your faces say that love still lives here, within your family. Bravo! Bravo!

Is it wrong that I’m jealous of your headstone? *sad smile* We went today too, brought some flowers to place (good thing we know where to look, headstone or no). I feel ya, girl. *hugs*

You have to love the spunk in your boys…they keep Bug’s spunk alive.
At one point during BlogHer, when you least expect it and will never know, I am going think of your Bug while toasting and hugging and laughing and geeking out is reigning supreme, and silently send him some love.
Even if I don’t end up making it to BlogHer, or meet you at if I am there.

The hardest thing a parent has to do is bury a child. We had a stillborn girl on December 10, 1980. There’s a hole in our lives where she should be. There always will be. As there will be in yours. My deepest sympathy.
