DUDE!

WTF?!

THEY CHANGED THE DATE OF ST. PATRICK’S DAY THIS YEAR?!

Can they even DO that?

I just read it was TODAY.

This means I MISSED IT.

Dammit!

Well if that’s really the case they did a horrible job of advertising it. I didn’t know, and it seems nobody else I know did either.

I knew, but to me it was a non-event. Green beer and mega drunks get old fast.

Are you still doing Peep of the week? My commenters love it.

Yup, I’m still doing it, but I had guests last week. I took down my sidebar things because I’m self conscious about my button due to lack of photoshopping skills.

I had it confirmed by some people who actually know what they’re doing, so I took down the button.

I’ll have to see if I can make a simpler button I’m not embarrassed about.

Until then, I’ll still post the award tomorrow.

    WHAT?! They can’t do that!!

I saw a girl today wearing a rainbow-patterned shirt with a green shirt over it, and I wanted to tell her she should have saved it until Monday. Maybe she was the smart one!

I’m still going to dress us all in green on Monday.

Where did you hear that load of hooey? Patrick’s Day is the 17th, and it’s always the 17th. Even my calendar says so (all four of them, don’t ask me why I have four), if that makes you feel better. But, since this year it’s on a Monday, and most people like to get drunk for Patrick’s Day, I’ve seen celebrations starting from Friday. In fact, I was celebrating myself at Piper Down last night. See, everyone wins. But the official day is still Monday, so rest assured you didn’t miss your chance to wear green and talk like a leprechaun.

Sra – did you read Loralee’s link? If you don’t like that one, here’s another one: http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/new.php?n=9917

Wow, that’s fantastic. The Catholic Church stands against birth control for people in poor countries because it’s against church dogma and tradition, but they can randomly change St. Patrick’s day because it clashes with Easter. That’s all I’ll say.

Wha??? I was planning on sitting down and making a green shamrock to pin to my sons shirt tomorrow (green is not a uniform color). I agree with hairy, horribly advertised!!

I’m sending him with a green shamrock tomorrow anyway!

Wow. Hmm… I guess my kids and I wore green and colored leprechauns and watched Darby O Gill & the little people, and made green milk and green mac n cheese for nothing today. (It TOTALLY figures though — I was shocked at my own on-top-of-it-ness, but turns out I was actually late!) Oh well, they had fun.
