The awesome Petroville is celebrating the 2nd anniversary of “A Perfect Post” awards over at her blog. I have been lucky enough to receive one of these nods in the past and so I was more than happy to jump in and help her mark the occasion by making a nomination of my own.
For my first nomination I chose a post written by “Serving the Queens”
This post is about her experience helping people with big challenges and disabilities find employment.
It ripped my guts out. I don’t usually actually cry when I read posts, but this one….man. It just sent me. The struggle of both of these women; one trying to find a way to survive and earn her way through the world and the other trying to make it happen and what it feels like to watch someone struggle knowing that they are likely to be defeated.
