I live with a Libertarian husband.
A Libertarian husband who is the biggest talk radio and political television viewing person on the planet.
A Libertarian who believes that McCain is a RINO (Republican In Name Only).
Ever since Florida, he has been an extremely frustrated Libertarian husband.
A frustrated Libertarian husband + Incessant talk radio and TV around him=This election is going to kill me, I swear.
He’s probably going to be walking around wearing a black armband today.
Sigh.

Seriously? Can we be done with this already? It’s killing me that we still have 10 more months of this campaigning crap to go. Why can’t we all just have a big election on the same day and be done already?
Tell him you decided that you think Hillary would be a good president. He’ll love that.
Yeah, Libertarians are a difficult lot. More crazy conservative than even Repubs.
It’s a bit oversaturating. Too much. Even in Canada I’m sick of hearing about it. You guys need to do the Canadian thing. Parties elect their own leaders at random times (usually after one loses an election), then elections can be called at random (at least every 5 years). That means about 5 weeks of campaigning per election!
But…. we have elections at random. 1993, 1997, 2000, 2004, 2006, 2008 (?). Sigh. It’s never ending.
Just tell him to come over to my side and vote Democratic. Even if he isn’t happy I would be. LOL.
my hubby looks forward to election years the same way other men look forward to the Super Bowl. I agree…it is going to be a LONG year! I can totally sympathize with you!
I always, always, always vote. I’ve never missed an election, but the Presidential seriously bugs me. In some ways it has less impact on my life than local elections (Which always boggles my mind. WHY people turn out more for national elections vs the ones that directly impact them doesn’t make sense. Tangent. Sorry).
I just hate the nastiness of politics.
UG.
I always vote too. You do have a very good point about the local elections. I have no idea who the mayor of my city is. But then again, I’m renting (no property tax), so it doesn’t effect me so much. But turnouts for local elections are usually minuscule.
