Sideblog: Will these bugs DIE already!

It is JANUARY.  Would someone, anyone care to explain to me why and HOW I have Box Elder bugs still alive (And in disturbing numbers) in my house in the middle of winter???  We are infested with them in the summer, but I have never had this happen before, and it is freaking me out.

    We have had a few and mosquitoes too! They fly a bit slower and you can at least catch them!

    *shudder* Box Elder bugs gross me out. Especially with their charming mating rituals. Gag!

    Dang global warming (though my mom tells me that it was a new ice age they worried about when she was a kid- no she’s not THAT old). Maybe blame it on El Nino?

    It seems to be going on a lot in the valley!
    SHUDDER.

    Even though box elder bugs are “Harmless” I still totally hate them.

    They are creepy.

    (It’s lucky you don’t know what they are, She Likes Purple. OH, for ignorant bliss!!!)
