Aside from Jonathan nearly getting a”Reckless Driving” ticket in front of our boys for doing donuts in an empty church parking lot and a hideous amount of exposure to all things “High School Musical”, Christmas was pretty perfect.
There is something to be said for a day when it is entirely acceptable to be photographed with no makeup and bed head.
My favorite gifts are my laptop and a heated, quad-roller shiatsu massage chair cover.
SO? What about YOU? What was your favorite gift this Christmas?

My favorite present is something I haven’t gotten yet- in a few weeks, when we move, I am getting more furniture! I’m waaay too into home decor. Obessesed.
We are hopefully moving into a larger home, so we will have over 500 MORE square feet! Why we need a four bedroom, 2500+ square foot house for just the three of us, I don’t know, but we sure think we do!

Wow! I’ve missed you, friend! I have a couple of fav presents. #1) Call me juvenile, but I’m loving my 20 questions game that can read my mind. #2) My Savior of the World CD because I’m just that addicted and the 12 step program isn’t working. Can’t get past step #1 of admitting I have a problem. #3) Loving the new clothes thanks to you. I’ll have to give you a modelling of them when I get back.

Hate you. Laptop? HATE you.
I love all my presents, to be honest. But it’s a toss up between the laptop desk, the Ulta makeup collection, the Sephora gift card and the ginormous check my parents gave me.
Yeah, it’s totally the check.

CHARLI:
It is uncharitable at this holiday season to have flaming, jealous envy and yet I am sitting here being a totally jealous hater that you will have A: That much space and B: Lovely new furniture to put in aforementioned space.
We are stuck in 1100 square feet until they decide where they are putting the effing road. It.sucks.rocks.
Totally happy for YOU, though. Truly. I think it rocks. Although I do NOT envy the moving. I hate moving with the power of a thousand burning suns.
RACHEL:
You’re going to be home, soon! Yay! Give me a call when you’re back from the land of Roux and Spanish Moss.
MARILYN:
It is not an uber awesome laptop, but it fits my needs and we saved eight hundred bucks on it, so I am happy.
I would trade it for a ginormeous check from anyone!
BRIDGY: Spending the holiday with you and Jess was totally preferable to the non-activity that we usually have in our household. I smell the possibility of TRADITION!
P.S. THANK YOU for your gift. We haven’t had a family portrait since Bug died. I’m totally excited.

Wonderful picture!
My fave gifts (to me) are oddly simple…I am digging the Steve Martin autobiography my hubby gave me; I’m almost done.
The other thing is something Santa brought our son…the game Mastermind. It’s a throwback to my husband’s childhood. Man, it’s fun and addiction (and I’m generally NOT a game person, sadly).

That’s a great photo! I was in PJs most of the day today. The only reason I got dressed yesterday was because my family came over at 1.
My husband did a “treasure hunt bag” of gifts that included an offer for a new laptop (woo hoo!) and getting my old skanky ghetto SUV detailed AND the carpet cleaned and a massage.
I think I was initially most psyched about the carpet cleaning.
I am officially old.

I can only wish to look that good with no makeup…
My favorite gifts were appliances. I can’t believe I’m writing this, but I love my new George Foreman grill (the G5 rocks!), Dustbuster, and food processor. How boring have I become?
My sister did give me a picture of me and my girls that made me tear up. There are so few pictures of me with them so it was especially thoughtful. I’m usually the one with the camera so there are HUNDREDS of pics of my husband with them.
