I am cursing this daily posting thing. I gots nothin’ creativity-wise today. So I’ll leave it to someone else and delve into my inbox.
I often get readers who are surprised to learn that I served three terms as Parent Organization President. I think this is one of my favorite reactions.
“You? PTA president? REALLY??? Somehow I have a hard time picturing that. You’re my favorite rebel not the cookie-dough selling type! :)”
Tee Hee.

LOL! Tee Hee
Favorite rebel types rock at selling cookie dough.
Where do schools sell cookie-dough? Baked cookies, yes, but DOUGH?
It simply confuses me….
Having two friends to post with makes it MUCH easier. If you need someone to write a post for you… give me a call. HEHE.
Okay I love the sideblog scene you’ve got going–what a great idea! And that last one? Would make a good movie.
Yes, I’m personally more the Momma that socked it to the Harper Valley PTA type myself.
I’ve awarded you a badge because your blog is one of my favourites.
I never thought I’d ever want to hear what a P.T.A mom (back you devil woman back) had to say but I do!
Rachel:
LOL, indeed. It surprises many. P.S. Hope you had a rockin’ birthday. I would have posted about it, but I thought you’d prefer hanging out.
Coolbeans:
Yes. We do have our place in the world. :)
Sharon:
We never let our kids sell stuff. That is one reason I heart my school. However, yup…selling frozen cookie dough is a huge fundraiser for some schools.
Bridge:
I know. I totally should. And crap. I need to get my guest post for your blog written. I am a bad friend!
Michelle:
I LOVE my sidebar. I have so many tiny thoughts that happen that just aren’t enough for a full post. LOVE IT.
Jen:
I think you would have liked my PO for precisely that reason. The whole reason that I took the job is that I knew I would NEVER, EVER be offered it again because I am so different. It is one of the things that I can say that I was really good at. I had a blast and so did most others.
The ones who had difficulty were mostly they who wanted everything in a cookie cutter fashion. NOPE. I let people be creative and put their own thumbprint on things. It totally worked.
Amanda:
THANK YOU! I’m thrilled. As I said, I am so not a PTA mom.
