Sideblog:Right brained or Left brained?

I found the coolest link the other day thanks to her.  Look at this graphic of a twirling ballerina.  If you see her spinning clockwise, you are right brained.  If you see her spinning counter clockwise you are left brained.  If you don’t pay attention to that and just notice the fact that the graphic has nipples that could put your eye out, you aren’t blind. (Seriously? Nipples? On an animation printed in a newspaper?) Apparently “Most of us” will see it turning counter clockwise.   Guess which way she’s turning for me?  Yup.  Not a left brained inclination in my body. Sigh.

I’m right brained then as I saw her twirling clockwise – good to know something about me uses the right side.
Although I have to admit I noticed the nipples as well. I could have hung my coat on them!

Yup. Right brainer here. Even trying my hardest I cannot see her turning counter- clockwise.

Just so you know, I’m totally right brained too, but I knew that already. My question is: who could some people see it one way and other people another way. It had to be programmed to spin one way or another. Some things just aren’t debatable. Weird, though. Yeah, and I have to agree with you…why were the nipples necessary on animation?

I don’t see how it would be possible to see it going counter-clockwise…and they say most people do? I would be fascinated to see if anyone else see her going counter-clockwise.

I’m glad I’m not the only nipple noticer out there, Amanda!

I thought that everyone had to see the same thing, but no…there are a lot of people who see it going counter clockwise. I just think a disproportionate amount of right brained people read my blog.

    Oh, and Erika? BWWWWWWAAAAAAAAHHHHHHAAAAAAA HAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I am right brained although I would have guessed otherwise. I can’t even imagine it going the other way. But then again, I can only see the old lady and never the pretty girl in that other thing.

Jess-Disclaimer for being right brained or disclaimer for being stupidly obtuse about what you are talking about????

    MacKenzie-Yes, but YOU HAVE A NIKON D40!!!!!
I had so much fun meeting you today. I hope that we didn’t totally overwhelm and/or offend you and your cute hubs!

I saw counter-clockwise first, but I got it to switch to clockwise, then back to counter-clockwise, and then one more time back to clockwise. Does that make me a freak or something? ‘Cause that would be cool.

I am a total pervert and I really didn’t notice the nipples!

At first I was like “well of COURSE she is turning clockwise!” but then I stared and I was like “wow. ok. NOW she is turning counter-clockwise!” so I like to think I am a creative think outside the box kind of individual who can also see reason. I apparently think a lot of myself…

I see her going clockwise too. I even tried to make her go the other way but it’s impossible. Did anyone see her going counter-clockwise?

It switched back and forth for me. The first time it happened, I thought I was drunk, but then I watched it for a long period, and it switched several times.

In all honesty, and this will come as no surprise to anyone who knows me – I can switch her at will. And I still want a boob job.
