I love Paula Begoun.
She wrote a thick, wonderful review book that covers just about every makeup, skin, and hair product on the planet. It’s called “Don’t go to the makeup counter without me” and I used to spend my breaks at Borders browsing through it.
Paula has made analysis of makeup and skincare accurately her mission. It almost reads a bit like a chemistry book at times, but I love that she bases most of her analysis on pure ingredient composition. She loves companies that provide sound, affordable products and market them honestly. She also has special disdain for companies that inflate their prices or promise the moon for products that suck. She has her own website now and provides several product reviews (Though not as many as in the book) and tons of tips. CHECK IT OUT.
