I wanted to update you on what camera I’m taking to the UK with me? I asked if you would borrow a Nikon D70 or buy a slightly better point and shoot than the one you already had? I made the decision to borrow the Nikon. I have been playing with it all day and I love it. Plus, thanks to her and her idiot-proof posts about moving away from automatic function to the scary world of manual functions, I will not only have photos that don’t completely suck, but I finally understand how to take a focused object with blurry background photo. YAY!

Good good! I love me some dSLR, and can’t wait to see what you catch with it. (And now you can save a bit more and just buy one! Okay, so that statement + you’re traveling to Europe probably doesn’t compute so well. But we like to dream! ;) )
DSLR’S are the bomb. /wink They ARE extremely heavy though when you have to carry them around for 12 hours today. /groans…
