I'm soooo excited. Every year at this time, Neil from Citizen of the Month has an internet "Christmahanukwanzaakah" concert. Bloggers sign up to sing, play, or hum a holiday ditty and post it on the internet for Neil to link to.IT IS ALL KINDS OF AWESOME and sooooo much fun to listen to. It's my first year participating and I think you should, too! GET THEE TO NEIL'S BLOG AND PUT YOUR SELECTION AND JOHN HANCOCK IN THE COMMENTS SECTION!
(And seriously? There are ALL levels of talent so none of that crap about how you aren't musical. I'm still waiting for someone to play the spoons, because THAT? Would rock.)

My.kids.are.still.vomiting.
6 days and they are STILL vomiting on themselves, their beds, me, and just about every other surface in my house EXCEPT THE TOILET.
Apparently, their vomit likes my brand-new shoes as much as I do.
Jon is sick, too.
It sucks.

Holden has been sick in~I’m not even going to say it because I don’t want to jinx myself. But, I do remember how very icky all that is, and how you can’t do a damn thing about it and it sucks. What’s worse is Jon being sick. There is nothing worse than a child being sick, but a grown adult throwing up male.
Poor you!
I hope the bane is lifted sooner that soon!

my kids puke often. they are quite the experts. i rarely have to clean it up from the floor. we also have a special puke bowl that they can sleep with. then they can puke in that if they aren’t going to make it.
how sick is that?? well, i assure you it’s better than cleaning vomit off the couch or picking bits of food out of your washing machine.
ok i have to gag now.

Oh holy hell… not the shoes, Loralee.. NOT THE SHOES!!
I actually vomited in a pair of my own shoes once because I was embarrassed to puke outside of my car while waiting to pick my sister up from school. It was my first pair of chucks. I’ll never forget that nightmare. She opened the door with a pack of cheerleaders and asked if I could take everyone home. I was holding a shoe full of puke.
