I film I REALLY want to see…

It looks like a movie I would love and adore. It never even bliped on my radar! Anyone heard of it? I can’t wait. The American screening is set for August 3rd. I love Jane Austen and this looks so…PRETTY! Plus, it has Maggie Smith (Who I love) and I love the trailer, AND I love the fact that they use soundtracks from “Emma” and “Little Women” and “Sense and Sensibility” IN the trailer. With all this “Love” flying around, I really have no choice but to go.  August is too far away. :(

Oh. My. Gosh. How did I not know about this! I love Jane! I love Maggie Smith too (can’t wait to see another movie she is in that comes out next month!) and of course I heart Anne. I may have to force my husband to you know, be a dad and watch Hali so I can go see this!

I’m totally planning on seeing it. I heard about it here and there then finally saw the trailer a few nights ago on “The Queen.” I’m very excited about it.

Do you ever visit pemberley.com? It is one of the sites I visit daily.

Anyway, as I have heard from “Janites” who are in the know…. This movie is a kind of pitiful and does not portray Jane in a true light. (i.e. They make her seem like Lydia Bennett if you know what I mean…)

I love the actresses that are in it. So, I will probably see this. But to be honest, I didn’t watch the 2005 Pride & Prejudice because Kiera Knightly was Elizabeth Bennett and I couldn’t handle that. AWFUL!!

I really didn’t right that to crush your excitement!!!

It might end up being a very good movie.

CRAP! I spelled “Write” as “right”

Sorry to keep posting. I just didn’t want the world to think I thought that was correct.

Oh, I am the queen of the follow up “OOPS!” comment, so no worries!

I will have to go to that website. I know that there are lots of “GAH!” about this film, but it just looks so…PRETTY!

I am a DEVOUT fan of the A&E P&P, and I hate Keira Knightly (Her jaw drives me CRAZY) BUT…GULP…I actually liked the movie and her in it (I know, I KNOW!). I went to see it because Mr. Darcy played Tom in “MI5″ and I love him, but truly she was really quite ok.

I could talk (And bore) everyone about my love for Miss Jane for hours, so I’ll stop writing now!!!

I also am a devout fan of the A&E P&P, as well as all things Jane. It was because my then boyfriend, watched & LIKED the 5 hour long movie, that I decided I could marry him (as well as some other things of COURSE!)

I even took my online moniker from her. (Shhh… My real name isn’t Jane!)

HA! My husband got points when I found out that he went as “Mr. Knightly” for Halloween the same year I dressed up as “Emma” (We didn’t know each other at the time.)

We had the soundtrack to Emma played at our wedding.

I found out later, he saw the movie the day before and thought it would bean easy costume, but still…It was cool!

P.S. Your secret is safe with me!

My sister and I figured out how to record the audio from the movie Emma (the one with drool worthy Jeremy Northam as Mr. Knightly and Gweneth Paltrow as Emma.) We shared a room in college and we would turn it on to fall asleep. Then we would discuss at what part we fell asleep to the next morning.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the soundtrack as well. The music is so happy! I know the movie so well I know what is going on during each song.

Yes, I am a Jane Austen DORK!

Okay, prepared to be a little freaked out, but um, I think that I have a crush on “Severus Snape” because of my love of Sense and Sensibility… damn that Alan Rickman is good in period films!

Okay, I know I’m a little late commenting on this. But OMG!!! This looks like such an amazing movie. Love Jane Austen. Love Maggie Smith. Not so sure about Anne Hathaway as Jane, but maybe.
