I was going to put together a stunning documentation of what happens when the two weirdest (Yet harmless) flirts on the internet have an IM conversation.
Yup.
Me+Alex+MSN= Very Interesting First IM Conversation
Because it was lengthy (And because no one really gives a shit) I attempted to edit it without losing gems like this:
I look weird in real life, so maybe you would be disappointed. I am really a fat Asian man
Azrael says:
Loralee says:
We would make beautiful babies together, Olga.
Azrael says: You bet, Hwung
However, Alex felt that my version was, er, LACKING:

Oh, man! you’re worse than the NY Times, taking me out of context and, umm.. stuff.
He was right. It sucked. My father’s editing skills did not pass down to me.
He would also turn in his grave (Ya know, if he were dead n’ stuff) to see my sloppy spelling, grammar and complete lack of structure or proper use of punctuation.
Maybe I am rebelling against a father figure, who knows?
Although, for the record, I grew up reading the news every single day, twice a day (Morning and evening editions). My dad was a news editor. I LUV reading newspapers. I devour them. Here’s proof:
My father didn’t really like writing as much as editing. I loathe editing, but am obsessive about writing and reading books. Reading is a passion. I go through phases, but I have to read every night to go to sleep.
In fact, here is one of the cooler Memes around. It fits, it’s 2 am, and this is a lame post. Humor me:
The Book of Mormon. Whether I think it is true or not is irrelevant. That books existence changed everything about generations of my family.
2. One book you have read more than once?
The Golden Compass Series. (His Dark Materials). So damn bitterweet and cool.
3. One book you would want on a desert island?
Besides, “How to make everything you need out of sand, in 4 easy steps?”
Ummm.
Probably a journal I wrote. To make me laugh and sane with no one to talk to.
4. One book that made you laugh?
A Heartbreaking Work Of Staggering Genius
5. One book that made you cry?
The essentials of Algebra. College version.
6. One book you wish had been written?
The idiot’s guide to un-fucking your life.
Travel Size
7. One book you wish had never been written?
Little Children.
Oh, how I thought that book SUCKED.
8. One book you are currently reading?
We Were Soldiers Once, And Young.
9. One book you have been meaning to read?
The Dante Club. I am STILL on chapter two, dammit!
There you go. What an odd post, boring post. My next will be entitled, “Shut your trap, sweetheart”.
Off to read a few pages and pray that I don’t dream of fat, Asian, warty children named Boris…

I am a readaholic too! I think it got passed down from my mom, from her mom, etc. Fav. books are Harry Potter. I also LOVE Anita Stansfield. In fact, I really think you would enjoy A Time to Dance, it came out in Feb., I think. Hop on over to Seagull or Deseret- it makes me cry everytime I read it- not that you need to cry over a book, but seriously- its good. I also love the Earths Children series by Jean M. Auel. My favorite book porn author is of course Nora Roberts. And the sheer grossness that are the Patricia Cornwall books are great too. Also the Work and the Glory series was INCREDIBLE! I couldn’t get enough as a teenager, if you can imagine that.
You forgot to mention the part about “fixing” your webcam. *eg*
Webcam? I want to play too!
Is Ms. Tunes as cool and pretty in person, Alex?
Since she refuses to tell us whose finger was up her nose, perhaps you can spill the beans on this story!
Kris
I am trying to read “Running with scissors”. It is brilliant, but so disturbing I am having difficulty.
I think I am the only person to despise, “The secret life of bees”.
My physiology text in college made me cry, too.
You and Alex procrating is somehow frightening.
I am in support of a co-authored blog by the two of you. Just as long as I can read it at work and it doesn’t take away from the loads of “Looney” material, ok.
Promise?
Good.

Yeah. Only Loralee can get naked on our new blog.
Cuz she said so.
I’m not a lesbian or anything, but that last comment sounds very intriguing, Alex.

Psh…Asian kids are never warty. It’s a rule of life.
