I Have Taken Interest! YOU WILL NOW PAY! (Part Two)

Once again, NO SLEEP.

CRAP!

Oh, well. It gave me time to ponder more about the popularity of this post and things that I failed to put ON THE LIST OF OBSESSIONS.

Good thing I have such kind friends and family to remind me what a freak of nature I can be!

I saw Paul Gross in the Pearson Airport (Toronto) this past summer when going on a trip for my job (I don’t want to say business trip because it really wasn’t. We went to Montreal for one night, and in the morning got on a train and came back with a bunch of annoying 16 year olds… it’s a time I like to forget.) Anyways, as I was walking around wasting time between flights he walked right past me… they even called his name over the intercom “Mr. Gross”. So yes, I’m sure. (that’s Canadian celebrity respect for you). The girl I was with DIDN’T EVEN KNOW WHO I WAS TALKING ABOUT… and neither did anyone else I talked to that weekend. In the end it was so frustrating trying to explain who he was (I had blanked on the name of the show… Me: “Uhhhh… you know… the show, about a Canadian Mountie… in the states……” Everyone else: blank-who-is-this-weirdo-stares) So that’s my Paul Gross story, which I only remembered as a result of your latest entry… I should have talked to him but I’m weird about those kinds of things… and he looked like he was having trouble with his travels and not very prone to random attacks by sort-of fans…

He is so dang cute! I wouldn’t have talked to him either (I can be quite shy…YES IT IS TRUE)

Ok…I left one off…another Canadian moment:
ANEE OF GREEN GABLES and JONTHAN CROMBIE as Gilbert Blyth. YUM YUM YUM

I saw him at Stratford in Romeo and Juliet…He was 5 ft away from me!!! Swoon.

We have more in common…I LOVE Agatha Christie also. I’ve read every single one of her 89 books, watch ‘Poirot’ every time he’s on the Biography channel. (David Suchet is the ultimate Poirot!)
I wish they would offer a similar series with Miss Marple!
I also love Anne of Green Gables, read all the books, saw the PBS series three times!

I LOVE YOU SHARON!!!! David Suchet is, indeed, the most perfect Poirot ever to walk the earth!

I adore Joan Hickson as Miss Marple (The theme music to that show makes me happy)…SO PERFECT, but I would enjoy seeing them updated like the Poirot series.

I am also a fan of “Sherlock Holmes” Jeremy is perfectly cast!

Jonathan reminded me that I went through a two-year obsession with “Little House on the Prairie” books. No matter what I read before bed, I had to end with a chapter or so from those books.

Jon did NOT understand. I actually didn’t either.

This is how he broke me of the habit:

Me: Jon…how could you NOT like Pa Ingalls???
Jon: Oh…I DO! Pa, Ingalls! You are so manly…oh, yah baby! Sheath that wheat…whip that horse… (Insert panting and Licking motions)

DUDE!!!! SO GROSS! HE VIOLATED PA INGALLS!!

    It worked, though.

My blog is feeling neglected after seeing yours. I wonder if I should hire out to freelancers so that my content comes more regularly.

    avatar Loralee Choate says:

I wouldn’t consider it neglect. I would consider it a fairly good indicator that you are free of mental illness! :D

I love your blog. I’m going to introduce you once I get over my hatred of HTML and can link you under the other beloved bemidji-ites…

    Two things.

    1. I find it eerie that we have so many obsessions in common.

    2. You forgot to mention that England is the soon to be home of your favorite neice where you can come and visit the cute baby once it’s born. :)

    avatar Loralee Choate says:

THE ONLY good thing about you being placed overseas!!!

:D I still think if it’s born on Halloween you should name it Jack Skelington…

    avatar Beekie says:

Yes, well. A part of me kind of wishes we weren’t moving…yet. And then I realize, I don’t want to have my kid in Arkansas. How horrible would that be?

Unfortunately, Jack has been used already in the Marquis family. It’s my nephew’s name. Dylan and I are in mourning.

    avatar Loralee Choate says:

True…That is sorrowful about the name Jack. I am a fan.

I also think it is awesome you are using my nickname for yourself here! :D

PPPSSSSSTTTT…everyone, this is my lovely neice Bekah..”BEEKIE”.
